Well-known corner getting an overhaul

“China House” was purchased by the restaurant owner.¬† He’ll be renovating the bldg. on Park St., downtown Alameda. Unfortunately, he will remove the distinctive blade sign of crimson blocks. He said preserving /¬†upgrading the sign is too costly. So my painting will hang in the restaurant as a memento of the old look.
