Lofty

Loft_Combo

Sketched in ink pen while visiting the live-work loft of sculptor Susannah Israel; added watercolor washes later. Downstairs was her sculpture work space & display area. Upstairs was this cozy living space with personable sculptures perched on bookshelves. Note the resident cat.

Fascinating but makes me dizzy. Does she really live in all this chaos? Wonderful rendering of the spirit.
